Harvest Celebration is almost here!

The Pea Pod is getting ready for the Harvest Celebration at the Walterville Grange this Saturday September 24th, from 10am-4pm. We have a ton of new fall goodies to share with you all. Make sure to come with an empty stomach, Grandma Pea is making her homemade potato soup and we have got Sweet Olivia's delicious treats. See you all there!!

Harvest Celebration and Grand Opening at the Paramount!

Come visit our ever expanding store at the Paramount Center, two doors from the itty bitty store at 21st & Main in Springfield. Us girls at the Paramount have been working our tails off, from the transformations at Linda's store Cedar, Sage and Roses ( Can't wait to show you what she is up to!) Sweet Olivia baking up some of her special treats and little Azzie that shows up through the back door with her fabulous creations. Tami at The Little Black Dress will have some sizzlin deals and Dayl has her store stuffed with her darling little girls ware. We are having our grand opening this Thursday Sept 15th-Saturday the 17th from 10-5. This great group of ladies are having a ton of fun and can't wait for you to see what we have been up to, we will have some great specials and a drawing, bring your best gals and hang out with us...Friday is sip and shop day, Yipee!

August 20th is right around the corner!!

We have been out pickin' hard! We went to visit our funny gal friend in Bend and laughed so hard while finding great goodies. We will be working our tails off to get our goodies cleaned, painted and priced. We will be fluffing our itty bitty store this week and some summer stuff will be on sale...come visit us 2144 Main St.

Also, we are going to be at the Vintage Marketplace this Saturday and then our talented friends will be joining us August 20th for our Sweet Pea Marketplace at the Walterville Grange. Can't wait to see you all!!

What an amazing summer so far aside of trying to beat this crazy weather. Middle pea and I are getting ready for the show August 20th... it's going to be so much fun, and the soup, don't forget about the soup, Grandma pea makes soup to die for! This weekend will be a busy one. Middle pea and Grandma pea are going to Redmond to do some extreme picking [they are going to have so much fun]. Lots to do here at the shop

this weekend, so I will be busy, you all should come and visit 2144 Main St Springfield, OR.  So if it's cold stay hot and if it's hot stay cold, you just never know with this weather, hope to see you all soon!!!!

Our Brownsville Marketplace is July 16th from 9-3, I can't believe it is almost here!! We are going to be hanging out with Dori Koberstein at her darling place and selling our goodies. Come see our talented and creative vendors, you will not leave empty handed! Dori's address is 504 Averill Street, come visit us and have a laugh or two...Also, don't forget about the new little Sweet Pea at 2144 Main Street in Springfield, we are in the same area with the fun gals at Cedar Sage and Roses and Bella Couture. Lacie and I are so lucky to hang out with these amazing people...August 20th Sweet Pea Marketplace will be back at the Walterville Grange. Busy, busy...but fun,fun!!

    The 3 peas are opening an itty bitty shop in Springfield in the old Paramount Center at 2144 Main Street, we are going to be hanging out with those fun gals at Cedar Sage and Roses and Bella Couture..We are SO excited!! We will keep you posted on the opening date...

We have decided to give our vendors a break and only charge half of the original fee space. The sun is out and we are really feeling good about this decision oh, I mean the sun was out ten seconds ago! Come see us out in the countryside and see what our wonderful vendors are up to! We did it!!

The Peas are still SO amazed that our first Sweet Pea was such a HUGE success! The AMAZING and super talented people that we were surrounded by, was magical and inspirational. From the great comfort food, desserts and ice cream to the stunning booths, there was something for everyone! When our heads stop spinning, we will post some fun pics of the show. We are lucky Peas to have such support!

Sweet Pea Marketplace is almost here!!!

The first Sweet Pea Marketplace is almost here!  

The three PEAS and friends are busy sewing, baking, cleaning, polishing and painting for this Saturdays' marketplace. Grab your friends and head out to the Walterville Grange this Saturday May 14th from 10-4 for a ton of fun! We will have great treasures, homemade food and ice cream sundaes out on the back porch.

Directions: Hwy 126 to Walterville, turn left at Camp Creek Rd. and you will see the grange on the right about 1/4 mile                

 Follow Camp Creek Rd until 1/4 towards the end, grange is on the left

What a bunch of lucky PEAS we are! We are so excited for our first traveling show with some amazing and talented people. A super group of crazy ladies that are bubbling over with excitement. Mark the date MAY 14th 10-4!! Walk back in time with home baked goodies baking in the oven and  fun treasures to be found by all... OH! The FARMHAND FEED farmgals will be dishin' out their homemade ice cream on the back porch, mmmmm good!  Cedar Sage and Roses are working their tails off, can't wait to see what they are coming up with! We are repurposing, polishing, painting and pricing. Can't wait to see you all..

Another rainy but cozy day...

What a great day to stay home with a hot cup of tea, curl up, watch movies, or read a good book. I have been getting all my  things done on my "To Do" list today and it feels so good! Now onto making a nice pot of homemade soup..snuggle, snuggle. Enjoy your day everyone!

 The LITTLE PEA and me had a fabululous week....LOVE getting to see Mary from Farmhand Feedstore in Cottage Grove and her darling daughter! I also got to see Linda @ Cedar, Sage and Roses, boy does her store look amazing....she has been working so hard!! What inspiration and creativity I am surrounded, what a lucky Pea!  We are overflowing with ideas and can hardly wait to show you all what we have got planned for the Marketplace. Finally I am BLOGGING!!!

I know, I know, I know!!!

You have all been telling me to start blogging, I think this is going to be really fun!!

I am so excited to share my thoughts and ideas with you all...(I think) hopefully you can get an idea of how my mind NEVER stops!! Maybe by blogging these, sometimes crazy ideas, I will find some people out there that are just as like minded as myself...I know you are out there!!

I have ALWAYS collected...3 generations of collectors, if you know what I mean...not hoarders, just like the history of the good ol' stuff. I also love to find a purpose for the treasures, I guess we call this re purposing. When you grow up with little money, you find  inexpensive ways to use garage sale items that you purchased to make the most out of them!! I have always made my homes into a sanctuary out of these "TREASURES" that I have found. Every piece has a story and I love that! So, needless to say, I have this gift of collecting that I learned from the oldest PEA, my Mom and I have passed it on to my daughter, the youngest PEA. We have different tastes...which is great...because we are different types of collectors, together we pretty much cover it all.

We have been trying to figure out a way to put all of our families' talents together and FINALLY I think we've nailed it!

Welcome to SWEET PEA MARKETPLACE!!

A traveling vintage market !! This marketplace is set in rural places scattered across the great state of Oregon. It will be one Saturday a month, all in different locations. I figured this was a great way to let vendors showcase their goods closer to home. I love this idea because the market will ALWAYS be different...vendors, food, etc. We also will be encouraging customers to bring food donations and get 1/2 off the admission price, this way we can donate these items right back into these communities, how great is that! A win-win for everybody..

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR!
Of course we are looking for some exciting fun people that are loaded with great junk and use their vendor space to create their own "STORE FRONT". Creating an amazing booth will get you rewarded with some cash! Yahoo!! We do have limited space so it really is first come, first serve.
As much as I hate to not let EVERYONE sell their goods, this is a juried event. We are looking for the right fit for our marketplace...just send us a picture and we will let you know!
